The mission of the Valley Community Services Board (VCSB) is to provide community based behavioral health, developmental disability and substance use services to the citizens in the counties of Augusta and Highland and the cities of Staunton and Waynesboro.

To begin or restart services please contact us at 540-887-3200 or visit us at our Sanger's Lane location on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday between 8am and 1pm.
Financial Assistance for Services
Thank you for choosing VCSB as your behavioral healthcare provider. There are fees for services. Valley participates in most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. If your insurance has a co-pay, that must be paid in full at each visit. If you are not insured by a plan we do business with, payment in full is expected at each visit. Some costs may be covered by Valley's fee reduction for services.

Established June 15, 1971, Valley Community Services Board (VCSB) is a publicly funded organization where citizens of Staunton, Waynesboro, and Augusta and Highland Counties can receive Behavioral Health, Substance Use and Developmental Services services. We are a 'person centered' organization tailored toward meeting your individual needs. Our competent, compassionate staff are available and ready to meet you and provide support and resources for helping you to deal with your challenges successfully.
